Advantages of Buying Reconditioned 

Price — Comparing apples to apples, a reconditioned (recon) piece of cleaning equipment is going to be less expensive than a new one. The relative advantage of a recon machine can also allow a buyer to step up to a better spec’d model without a large price tag. 

Depreciation — Cleaning equipment, just like vehicles,  lose value with each passing month and hour, but the steepest decline happens right away; some models can lose 40 percent or more of their value in the first year. With a reconditioned piece of cleaning equipment, there’s no depreciation hit the second you acquire it. There’s also less mental depreciation, no need to worry about your operators banging the machine into a wall and scratching the body because chances are the previous owner or owners took care of that for you (although we make as many necessary upgrades to ALL cosmetics as much as possible). 

Choice — Although you obviously can’t build a recon machine to order, maybe you want a model, option package, or even a design that’s no longer made. This wider selection can add to the length of the search, but perfection and satisfaction rarely come easily.

Lead Time- Pre-pandemic, we use to floor stock various reconditioned machines for immediate shipment. Based on our experience, we found that we were creating machines for a changing customer base that had alternative needs. As a result, we moved to a “build to order” model that allowed us to provide exactly what our customers needed within a short period of time. Post-pandemic, we are still feeling the effects of a strained supply chain. Staying true to our customers demands and navigating a strained supply chain, we make every effort to ship commercial products between 5-7 weeks and industrial products between 7-9 weeks.
