| Interval | Component | Supervisor Inspection Action | Why It Matters / Cost Impact |
| Every 30 Hours | Squeegee Blades | Inspect wear on front/rear squeegee blades. Rotate blades to use a new edge (all 4 edges can be used before replacing). | Prevents streak marks and avoids purchasing new squeegee blades prematurely. |
| Weekly | Solution Filter | Unscrew and clean the clear inline solution filter under the chassis. | Prevents dry-scrubbing damage to floor surfaces and solenoid valve burnout. |
| Weekly | Dispensing Lines | Check solution hose connections for kinks, buildup, or leaks; test manual shutoff valve. | Ensures consistent detergent delivery and avoids water pooling during storage. |
| Monthly | Battery Terminals & Charger | Check terminal connections for tightness and corrosion. Verify wall outlet dedicated line. | Prevents premature battery failure ($400+ replacement cost) and voltage drops. |
| Quarterly | Brush & Suction Carbon Brushes | Inspect carbon brush length on drive motors (Must be ≥ 8.0 mm). | Prevents total motor failure and expensive full-assembly replacements. |
CRITICAL SUPERVISOR CONTROL: Incorrect charger settings will permanently damage batteries within weeks. Always double-check DIP switch positions on the internal charger board whenever replacing or swapping batteries!

Storage Protocol: Instruct staff to plug in the charger after every shift. Lead-acid/AGM batteries left discharged for >48 hours sustain permanent capacity loss (sulfation).
Charge Lockout Safety: The CS16 will not operate while the charger cord is connected to AC power. If an operator reports a "dead machine," verify the power cable is completely unplugged from the wall.
